The Story:
SmartScan, AI and Education
In 2003, SmartScan began from a humble seed idea, self-bootstrapped through the evolutionary emergence of AI technology into a suite of educational products that assist students in learning: smarter, faster, and more engagingly. Quality education equips students with the knowledge needed to become pioneers in advanced careers, and rewarded with future paychecks.
For teachers, AI offloads many laborious tasks, such as preparing tests, marking and grading papers, effortlessly monitoring students’ progress and historical performance, and preparing reports for schools, ministerial boards, and parents. Teachers are now facilitators who work in tandem with the system to ensure the personalised learning process is timely and effective. This enables teachers to take care of more students and focus more on those in needs

The Founder and Pioneer
Mr. See is a Computational Physicist by profession, now retired and dedicating his efforts to teaching machines to become smart and serve humanity.
These breakthroughs and achievements by Mr. See were made possible through quality education. He began his primary education at SRJK (C) in a small town called Bekok. He then attended SES Kluang for his secondary education and finally Sekolah Tinggi Muar for his sixth form. These superb schools paved the way for his future endeavors.
After that, he attended the University of Malaya for his tertiary education, receiving his B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Physics. He then moved on to the University of California San Diego, USA, to pursue his passion for computers. At UCSD, he was mentored by renowned professors who are founders of Computer Science: Prof. L. A. Zadeh (Father of Fuzzy Logic & AI), Prof. T.C. Hu (Father of Combinatorial Algorithms), and Prof. Kent Bowles (Father of UCSD Pascal).
Mr. See completed his Masters course in just eight months in1983. He also gained invaluable experience in chip design and making through a project P-Core on a chip.
Now retired, he has embedded all his invaluable experiences into the SmartScan system: an AI transformative platform capable of taking Malaysia to the next level.
